Daniel Lucio is a System Engineer, a Democrat, and a candidate for Congress who believes in the foundational American promise of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. He is running to represent Arizona's 1st District because he sees that promise threatened by a broken political system in Washington.
Our government requires representatives who will do their duty: hold the administration accountable and always put the interests of their district first. But our current congressman has failed that test. Instead of being an independent voice for Arizona, he has become a rubber stamp for his party's agenda in Washington, failing to perform the basic duties of his office.
For over 20 years as a System Engineer, Daniel’s job has been to analyze complex problems, find the bugs, and build better, more efficient systems that work for everyone. He believes this practical, problem-solving approach is desperately needed in a Congress that has lost its way. He isn't a career politician; he is a professional who understands that results matter more than rhetoric.
Daniel is an optimist who believes we are all in this together. He will work to promote the general welfare, protect our quality of life, and secure the blessings of liberty for the next generation.
